The burger at El Forno was a flavor explosion! The riad was a stone's throw from all the historical spots, and the staff, especially Ahmed, made the stay even better with his local insights. Plus, the rooftop view was perfect for breakfast!
Navigating the dense Medina was a bit tricky. more signs would’ve been helpful. But honestly, the location is still a gem for exploring Fes, making any minor hassle worth it!

An amazing location right in the heart of the old market, offering a quiet retreat just steps away from major attractions. The staff stood out for their friendliness and attentiveness, providing helpful tips and a warm atmosphere. Breakfast on the rooftop featured magnificent views and delicious treats, including delightful cookies that added a sweet touch to the morning. However, the dense Medina can be tricky to navigate, requiring some patience, and improvements in signage would enhance the experience.

Good location, right in the middle of the medina. Comfortable bed and clean towels. Dinner was excellent, with a fantastic chef. It was quiet and nice compared to the chaotic streets outside. I would definitely come back!

Breakfast on the rooftop had magnificent views.
The family suite was awkward, connected through a courtyard balcony. It was uncomfortable for late-night trips between rooms, requiring us to get dressed to avoid awkward encounters with guests below. The dark alleyway outside the hotel was concerning. considerate guests might feel uneasy navigating it at night without proper lighting.

The stay was fantastic, especially with the beautiful decorations around every corner. I loved enjoying breakfast on the rooftop, where the view of the Medina was breathtaking. Being so close to major attractions like the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts added convenience to our trip. Ahmed went above and beyond, ensuring everything went smoothly, including guiding us from the taxi drop-off late at night. Overall, the experience felt warm and welcoming.

The family suite connected through a courtyard can feel awkward at night, so consider packing a light robe for midnight trips.

This was just an optimal selection for a weekend break in Fes with real value for money. The staff was very accommodating, especially when they helped us arrange payment when we ran out of dirhams. Remember to bring enough cash since they don’t accept credit cards.
